The life of prima ballerina Margot Fonteyn
seems to be a blueprint of the fairy tales she danced.
Someone who emerged from dreams and became reality.
It was as if you knew her.

She was envied, admired, abused, loved and betrayed.

If you were to make up such a story, people would not believe you.

Margot and the Postman

The piece takes place in a setting with three mirrors and a grand piano.
On the border of one side to the other. She meets a postman who takes her to the places where she was.

'Who is that woman?'
'She danced sunlight into your brain.'
'Let her enter.'

'Margot and the Postman' can be seen in theatres in Flanders starting from September 2009 and in the Netherlands starting from January 2010.
